6. You can also connect to ESX server using VI (Virtual Infrastructure) client.

Similarly you can add VMKernel port group.

Virtual Switch Configurations
Click on properties of virtual switch.

Right section displays the properties of item selected on left side. You can edit settings of any item in left side by selecting it and clicking on edit button at the bottom. There can be three types of port groups so you will get following screens to configure accordingly.
