VKernel 2009 Growth Exceeds 160%

Growth reflects demand for capacity management in virtualized data centers

ANDOVER, Mass., January 27, 2010 — VKernel, award winning provider of virtualization management tools for VMware and Microsoft virtualized environments, today announced record customer and revenue growth in 2009. Total bookings for 2009 more than doubled over 2008 and the number of users more than tripled. VKernel attributed the growth to rapid market adoption of its Capacity Analyzer, Optimization Pack and Chargeback solutions.

Other VKernel 2009 highlights include:

  • Launched the award winning Optimization Pack.
  • Announced Capacity Analyzer support for Microsoft’s Hyper-V.
  • Expanded to over 10,000 VMware Administrator users.
  • Doubled the number of sales and marketing employees.
  • Moved its headquarters to Andover, MA
  • Won SearchServerVirtualization Silver Award for 2009 Product of the Year and Virtualization Review Readers Choice Awards for Virtualization Management categories.
