Step by step instructions to install VMware ESX Server 3.x

1. Put VMware ESX 3.5 Server CD in CD Drive and power it on. Server will boot from CD and you will get following screen.
2. Press Enter to install Vmware ESX 3.5 server in graphical mode.
3. Press “Tab” to select “skip for CD media test”. 4. That’s the welcome screen for ESX 3.x installer. Select Next.
4. That’s the welcome screen for ESX 3.x installer. Select Next.
5. Select your desired keyboard for ESX3.5 Server and click Next.
6. Select the mouse type and click next.
7. Accept License and click Next.
8. You can select “Recommended” for ESX Server Installation wizard to automatically create partition or you can select “advanced” to create partitions manually. In most of the cases you can go with “Recommended” option. Click Next.
