<description>We have been a VM6 customer since VMex 1.0. To this day we have a three-node Windows cluster running VMWare Server 1.0 with VMex. VMex is a completely unobtrusive but vital part of our server infrastructure. Using VMex 1.0, we can run any number of virtual machines in a Windows cluster, and have high availability for only the cost of the VMex software.
One thing that stands out in my mind in working with VMex is that installation is quick and easy, and I never have to touch it again.
I have recently purchased the new VMex and plan to install it on new hardware in the near future.
I have great respect for a software company with a minimalist approach to systems. Instead of having enterprise version requirements, they maximize our investment in the standard versions of software to offer a simple path to high availability.
